  1. Is it all right if I come to this group? My husband has Alzheimer’s Disease, and I am looking for daytime (I’m night blind!) caregiver support groups for myself. We live in downtown SA. My doctor is at MARC, so I know my way there. Some of the groups listed on the Alzheimer’s website are quite far from where we live. Also, most seem to be at night. So I am searching. We are new in the city. Any suggestions will be helpful. Thank you.

  2. Hello, my mother and I would love to attend the next support group meeting (Alamo Area, 3rd Tuesday at 11:00)) but we are concerned about leaving my dad at home alone (he has Parkinson’s with dementia). Are there any options for onsite assistance with patients while we attend the meeting? We are assuming not, but I wanted to ask just in case. Thank you!

  3. Hi there! I’m looking for support for my aunt and uncle who live in San Antonio. My uncle has Parkinson’s, and they are needing assistance with his care. I just found your support group for caregivers, which I think would be great for my aunt and I will pass along that info. Are there any other resources I could pass along to them?

    Thank you,

Does this support group still meet?
    Who leads/speaks at these meetings?
My husband has been recently diagnosed and while I was looking for a support group for him I ran across this group for me.
Will appreciate any and all information.
    Thank you.

  5. Are there any support groups in the Stone Oak area?
